Through mindfulness meditation, individuals can learn to identify and acknowledge their emotions, particularly negative emotions such as anger, frustration, or sadness, that can arise from experiences of racism.

By acknowledging these emotions and sitting with them, individuals can learn to respond to them in a more mindful and compassionate way, rather than reacting with defensiveness or aggression.
